  1. This is my favorite of yours. I like the fact that distractions are few, thanks to the solid background. The suspension stitching brings you out and in and gives a twisted Magritte effect; the other gives an appropriately bizarre medical feel. Placement is good. As the lower strings point down and inward, there is a heaviness that gives a sense of gravity or downward pull/motion. The insects are like icing on the cake, so to speak...

    This doesn't pull on the traditional heartstrings, though:)
